Medications Quality
Authenticity of Brand and Generic Drugs Alike
At the Happy Family Store, you will always find an array of medications that are both originals and generics. Diversified as their manufacturers might be, the products you will find here have one common denominator, and it is high quality. The quality of medications on our catalog is ensured through multiple checkpoints that begin with the origin of raw materials and ethical manufacture practices. Every batch is tested for consistency with the federal standards, no matter if it is a brand drug or its generic equivalent.
To ascertain the quality, safety and efficacy of each product, we:
- Only use licensed drug suppliers, manufacturers and distributors
- Run authentication of documents for every shipment that we receive against official records
- Check the quality of packaging, the correctness of labels and authenticity/intactness of seals
- Make sure that each generic substitution is bioequivalent to the original drug or benchmark
- Keep tabs on the supply chain so that the shipments are not diverted on their way to us
- Perform spot checks that rule out any risk of counterfeit or contamination
Compliance With FDA and International Standards
The warehouse and laboratory staff of the Happy Family Store manage medications in our stock in strict compliance with international safety frameworks and domestic regulations reinforced by the FDA. What this means to you as a consumer? In short, every product that is dispatched from our warehouse is characterized by purity, safety and authenticity. We keep our customers safe from counterfeits, falsifications of any kind and contamination.
GMP-Certified Manufacturing Processes
Every drug supplier that we work with is thoroughly checked for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and has to provide the corresponding certification before we even enter the negotiation phase. These practices stipulate the correct handing of raw materials and freshly produced batches of medications, as well as the standard testing procedures to weed out batches of subpar quality.
Proper Storage and Temperature Control
The storage conditions for medications are incredibly important. Most of the preparations do not tolerate any lengthy excursions in either temperature or air humidity, so creating and maintaining specific conditions in the drug storages is a large part of work for our pharmacy technicians. This process is mostly automated, with specifically designed systems monitoring the right conditions in the warehouses, yet we rely on human supervision just the same. The same diligent monitoring of environment is applied to packaging and transportation. You can read more on the page describing our Quality Standards.
Expiry Date and Rotation
At our warehouses, we use a rotation system that is based on expiry date for medications in our inventory. Products with the longest shelf life are the last to be shipped off, but all of the items are shipped well before they expiry date nonetheless. You can rely on receiving the drugs of the best quality and in top condition every time you place an order at the Happy Family Store.
Independent Quality Checks
Without overly relying uniquely on compliance with the existing regulations, we benefit from regular independent laboratory checks that lend us a few pairs of fresh eyes on our routines. Those quality checks happen quarterly and keep us prepared for federal checks – not to mention their true value at keeping us at the top of our game throughout the year. The result? Our customers get only excellence wrapped in discrete packaging and transported with care.
